LEAD VOCALIST Darci LaRae
Darci has been a Janis Joplin fan for many years! She is a genuine entertainer and powerhouse vocalist with amazing versatility and vocal range to cover many musical styles and genres. She has performed across the US with various Top 40/Variety Show Bands, and throughout Europe and Asia with USO Tours International. Darci quickly connects to her audience with an infectious charm and innate talent that will have you riding the wave of her spectacular high energy performance.
BASSIST/VOCALIST Eric Koch AKA Johnny Rhinestone
Eric is a professional musician and has been involved in many bands and music projects playing and recording a variety of music styles from Zydeco to Zeppelin! He lays down the bass lines for the Janis Joplin tribute representing closely the bottom end of the songs that Janice sang with the Big Brother And the Holding Company band. His meter, groove and feel for these songs is exceptional and will make you feel you are listening to the real deal!
DRUMMER Ted Reed
Teddy has been behind a drum set providing a steady solid beat for a number of groups over the years. Ted is a consummate professional both on and off the drum kit. Teddy plays on DW Collector Series maple drums and Zildjian cymbals. In Teds words; “I am having fun playing with this talented group of musicians and recreating the drumming of Big Brother and the Holding Company’s David Getz who played with Janis on many shows. I’m very happy to play with Darci our singer who is able to emulate Joplin’s raspy bluesy soulful singing.”
KEYBOARDIST Sami GH
Humble Composer arranger and multi talented Sami GH is a great addition to any project that needs piano or strings or horn parts in the music. With a bachelors degree in music and years experience with many different styles of music both locally and internationally he provides the needed touches to make this an authentic tribute to Janis Joplin and her bands.
